STB PCI TV Tuner Problem
Windows Update said there was updated drivers from "Emuzed, Inc" which made the actual tuner chipset. I installed the updated drivers and now the TV application just freezes at random, relatively short times. I could leave the TV running for 10 hours without a problem, now I'll be lucky if it lasts an hour.

Pinnacle PCTV TV tuner problem
I have a hardware firewall too so no security issue. Didn't help. After doing some more research, I found an article that talked about clearing DRM. I tried doing that using Netflix downloadable I recently bought the ATI TV Wonder Digital Cable Tuner and had the tech come out and activate the cable card today.

Error - Tuner Not Available message
I have a few problems, but one GLARING one, which is a HUGE pain: I have two HD tv tuners in my machine, which I ordered when purchased the machine, so the cable guy came to my house to put a card they have to put in the back of this tuner (equiv. of digital cable box, I'm paying $10/mo. for it.

Then our tuners are worthless. re: digital cable while cable companies will indeed be providing digital cable, your tuner will never be worthless. you need a digital cable box to receive the digital cable, but if you don't have a digital cable box, you get regular analog signals. perhaps the OP didn't pay his cable

Windows Boot Manager issue
As stated in the subject line the TV is able to tune channels and display a correct picture. The problem is that there is no sound with that picture. TV tuner issue?
My new card works fine except for a tuner problem that Matrox support has been no help on. When changing to a channel, about half the channels are initially distorted and jittery and then gradually clear up in stages for a couple of minutes until finally the image is clear. The cable comes from the wall.
